1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file stored by your browser when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies — localStorage, sessionStorage and pixel tags — grouped under “cookies” in this policy.
2. The categories we use
- Strictly necessary — sign-in session, credit balance, planner selections, cookie-consent preference and CSRF protection. These cannot be switched off because the studio would not work without them.
- Analytics — aggregated, pseudonymous statistics about which pages are visited and where visitors come from, so we can improve the studio. Loaded only after you accept.
- Preferences — remembers your chosen currency, language and last planner step so you don't have to reconfigure the site on every visit. Loaded only after you accept.
3. Cookies we set
| Name | Category | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| aikitchen_session | Necessary | Signed-in account and pending order state | Persistent |
| aikitchen_credits | Necessary | Client-side credit balance mirror | Persistent |
| qualitas_cookie_consent | Necessary | Stores your cookie preferences | 12 months |
| _analytics_id | Analytics | Pseudonymous visit counting | 6 months |
| qualitas_prefs | Preferences | Currency and planner defaults | 12 months |
4. Managing your choice
The consent banner appears on your first visit. You can change your answer at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site — the banner will reappear. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies from Settings → Privacy. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break sign-in and checkout.
5. Third-party services
Analytics is provided by a privacy-friendly processor under our instructions. We do not sell your browsing data and do not run third-party advertising cookies.
